Built for doers who type without a keyboard.

Point with a mouse, trackball, head pointer or dwell. FlowKeys types into any app, right where your cursor is.

A MacBook on a sunlit desk beside a trackball and two accessibility switches, with the FlowKeys keyboard open over a note.

Your word, sooner.

FlowKeys reads the sentence you’re in and learns your words. Nine suggestions sit in one row, so your word is often there before your first letter.

Nearly 4 in 10 words show up before you type a letter. Over half your keystrokes, saved.Measured on 500 everyday conversation messages FlowKeys had never seen, with the full suggestion row.

Your predictions and the words FlowKeys learns stay on your Mac.

Questions

How is it different from Apple’s Accessibility Keyboard?

FlowKeys puts nine word suggestions that learn how you write, dictation and one-tap rewrites in one floating keyboard.

Does it work with my head pointer, eye tracker or switch?

Yes. Anything that moves the pointer works. Dwell clicking handles the clicks, and scan mode lets you type with one switch, key or mouse button.

Which apps does it type into?

Any app with a text field: mail, browsers, Messages, documents. In password fields it still types, but predictions and learning switch off so your passwords are never saved.

Is my typing private?

Your predictions and learned words stay on your Mac. Dictation audio and text you choose to rewrite are sent only to be processed. Privacy policy

What can’t it do?

FlowKeys can’t appear on the lock screen or login window, because macOS doesn’t let any app show there. To unlock without a keyboard, use Touch ID, an Apple Watch, or Apple’s Accessibility Keyboard, which you can turn on from the lock screen’s accessibility options (⌥⌘F5).
